This week on Talking under the influence .. we get drunk.. oh wait, that’s the whole point. We do have a special guest though .. Matt Becker, AKA @SmallBatchBrew, joins us to bring the awkwardness to the show ..
We start off with the rockstar death at 27 legend that Ashley is happy that she survived, and joins us from NY as she prepares for the onslaught of her birthday.
We talk about gay pride, and Ashley becomes a lesbian for the week, and Matt and I talk about gay men compatibility and what that means, as well as can straight guys break into caberet songs in public without being labeled gay, and does the same apply to Metallica songs, and Ashley getting hit on by lesbian chicks currently on a date with a guy ..
Then Aric shows up .. Late .. again ..
So we start talking about his Tanqueray and tonic, and “Rapper Cocktails”.
We then talk about the viabilty of charging people 1 dollar a month to follow you on twitter .. how many followers would you lose ? Matt suggests the NPR route of begging for money with every third breathe
We also talk about B celebrities charging for their autographs and how lame that is .. and Stephen takes a picture with Boomer.
Other random discussions …
Are we dying off due to society catering to the lowest common denominator?
Are autographs from children weird and creepy?
The sadness behind celebrity has beens whoring out autographs.
How do we transfer our love of quality in craft beer to other aspects of our ingestion lifestyle?
